Paresse means lazyness in french.
Lazyness has never been something I’ve considered as a waste of time. I rather think about it as time spent for doing things you enjoy!
You will find here inspiration sketches and handmade clothes & accessories from those lazy moments.
Each item is handmade with care, in Göteborg, Sweden.
The story behind Paresse:
Paresse started on a simple need: feel good in my clothes.
I feel good in my clothes when I’m ready to have fun!
I feel good in my clothes when I’m ready to have fun!
Fabric quality, an original and unique design, comfort and wearability, smart and cool details are all the attributes I expect when I look for a new piece.
It’s been increasingly difficult to find all of those attributes in affordable fashion. I’ve been frustrated by the strategy of the global labels: mass production means in most cases a loss in quality, standards models that end up being worn by a whole city, and production outsourcing in countries where the working conditions are still unfair.
That’s why I started sewing my own clothes. I had everything to learn, started with very simple designs and tried to increase the level difficulty for every new model.
