Summer baby trousers 2013-06-02 08:30
I don’t know what happened to the weather gods but they seem to make a huge joke in Europe right now: Southern Europe had the worst weather in May and Northern Europe got an early summer…
Just imagine, yesterday we swam in a lake (without freezing)!
Our innergården, the collective garden / playground / barbecue area that we share with our neighbors has never been so crowded. In short, I have to worry about what to wear for summer, and quickly.
Light trousers are great when the sun rays are very strong and you want to protect your little one without having to put 1dl of sunscreen on her skin every hour.
These trousers are made from a basic, straight leg model where I added some centimeters at the waist and ankles in order to put elastic threads for increased comfort and fit. 3 elastic thread lines at the waist, 2 at the ankles. No buttons or zips. Simplicity! They’re in a lightweight cotton fabric that remained from Lorraine’s dress.
And now I would like to sew the same for me, they look so comfy and fresh!
