Lorraine, this black top makes me think about you when you say that it doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful, usually simple does it.

Well, believe it or not but I’ve been looking for a simple, black, wool top with long sleeves and a round neckline. Looking for it again and again, but it would always come with a detail that would make it too complicated, like a bow or with a drape or it would only come in cotton.

This one is simple but with a luxurious fabric: cupro and wool, which makes it very warm and semi transparent at the same time. I’m already thinking of buying more of this fabric to do several tops like that – what is simplier than wearing it under a dress / tee shirt / blouse to be warm & chic? This top is definitely on my list of basics for winter.
