Satin and tulle top 2010-12-19 15:03

This is a racer back white satin topped with very thin black tulle. Got the inspiration after seeing a very elegant girl at the Göteborgs Opera who wore a sleek white satin top with a black tailored jacket.  White satin is a bit too bright for me; the black tulle over it is a good way to nuance it and provide some more mystery. Though I think I will rather wear it with a cropped leather jacket.

By the way, the concert was good, it was about James Bond themes played by Göteborgs orchestra – a long time ago. It seems every time I take an inspiration from street style, it takes several months before it matures and it finally gets translated into a garment. Well, my very small sewing production can be an explanation too!
