Making your own clothes takes a while. Doing the prints on the fabric takes even longer!

I almost got a sunburn because I was sitting in the sun on my balcony in Göteborg when I painted this scarf. For those who don’t leave in Sweden, getting a sunburn is quite a challenge and you have to be very patient to achieve it: picking the right day when there is no cloud in the sky, plus when the sun is strong enough (that is, between mid-June and mid-August), plus picking the perfect time when you can fearlessly put your bikini on without being eaten alive by mosquitos (that is, when they sleep. Do they ever sleep?).

Well, anyway, the prints are here, my sunburn isn’t.

The prints are tiny shiny dots and leaves. The goal was to produce a chain-like print.

Since this is a see-through fabric, it works great layered over a white or shiny top. But: it’s not because it’s see-through it’s not warm! Ask my friend Carine, she would reply courgettedely: “woaw ces collants transparents, on dirait pas mais ils sont super chauds!”.
