Small dots, big flowers 2010-06-10 17:45

I’ve been sick the past 2 days, so I’m trying to cheer me up by keeping this blog updated and posting an easy tip to make a spring/summer scarf – that is, a pure accessory, who needs scarf when it’s warm outside?
I actually sewed it and took the pictures a few months ago and I don’t know why I haven’t posted it sooner. Anyway, it will take you less than 1h to realize it.
You just need 2 different fabrics:
- Fabric 1 (the flower fabric): a band of 80cm x 6cm
- Fabric 2 (the dots fabric): a band of 80cm x 9cm
Then put the backside of the 2 bands in front of each other and roll the dots fabric around the flower fabric in order to make borders. Sew it and here you go!
The inspiration for this scarf comes from here.
Here is the scarf I made for my friend Lorraine in exchange of some ham from Spain.

Toujours aussi agréable de regarder ce blog, visuellement et littérairement si je puis dire! Encore bravo!
