I did this jacket for the wedding of my friend Maeva – aaaah what a great wedding it was, and Maeva really looked gorgeous as a bride!
That was last January… Which was summer in Australia.
I was quite proud about this light jacket because it was actually the first of my design I could decently wear for an event without fearing too much that someone would discover I made it myself! And it adds some structure to the long floating dress I wore.
You’ll never guess where I found the chains: at Bauhaus, when actually looking for screw drivers and tiles for renovating my bathroom… It’s actually a lot cheaper than in hobbies stores.
