I won’t tell you how long it took me to knit this mohair and alpaga poncho because I honestly don’t remember.
It was scattered over a long time period and I knitted whenever I had a free moment or whenever I remembered I wanted to finish it.
But what I can tell you is how much wool I used to do it:
4*200m of alpaca wool
2*400m of mohair wool
–> 1600m of wool !
No wonder it’s so warm and comfortable when I put it on!
In Scandinavia, wool takes a strategic place in every wardrobe since there is always an occasion to wear it, either layered on many clothes in winter or thrown on a light dress during a fresh night in summer.
But the occasion doesn’t really matters, I think that most of all, wool is really cool!
